Acceptance of Terms
Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using PadhaiPal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 11 years old to use PadhaiPal. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
Use of Services
License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use PadhaiPal for personal, non-commercial educational purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Educational Content
Our AI-powered content is designed to supplement, not replace, formal education. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that all content is error-free. Always verify important information with official sources.
AI Limitations
Our AI tutor provides automated responses based on algorithms. While we continuously improve accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inappropriate responses. Report any issues to help@padhaipal.in
Prohibited Activities
You Agree Not To
Share your account credentials with others. Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users accounts. Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission. Use automated tools to access or scrape the platform. Harass, abuse, or harm other users. Upload malicious code or interfere with the service. Misrepresent your identity or affiliation. Use the service for commercial purposes without authorization.
Academic Integrity
PadhaiPal is designed to help you learn, not to facilitate cheating. Using our service to complete assignments fraudulently or violate your school's academic integrity policy is prohibited.
Intellectual Property
Our Content
All content on PadhaiPal, including text, graphics, logos, AI models, software, and educational materials, is owned by PadhaiPal or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (questions, notes, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display it for service improvement and AI training purposes.
NCERT Content
NCERT materials are used under educational fair use provisions. All NCERT content remains the property of NCERT and the Government of India.
Disclaimers
Service Provided 'As Is'
PadhaiPal is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee that using PadhaiPal will result in improved grades, exam scores, or educational outcomes. Success depends on many factors including individual effort and dedication.
Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.
Limitation of Liability
Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PadhaiPal and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
Maximum Liability
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or Rs 1,000, whichever is greater.
Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Subscription and Payments
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
Refund Policy
New subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of initial purchase if unsatisfied with the service. Contact help@padhaipal.in for refund requests.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Price changes will apply to the next billing cycle after the notice period.
Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in settings.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing Law and Disputes
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
Dispute Resolution
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to first contact us at help@padhaipal.in to attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
Changes to Terms
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent notice on our platform at least 30 days before taking effect.
Continued Use
Your continued use of PadhaiPal after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the service.
